Built for safety-critical powertrain component manufacturing. The HF-500 processes powertrain steels up to 15 mm thick, producing gear blanks and synchronizer components with clean shear edges that meet OEM dimensional and surface specifications.

Consider a transmission gear blank production line running multiple module sizes across the same die set. Different gear modules demand different shear-zone conditions: a module-3 gear blanked from 8 mm 16MnCr5 needs lower blanking speed to maintain tooth-profile edge quality, while a module-5 gear from 14 mm material requires higher V-ring force to constrain the thicker shear zone. The HF-500's independently programmable triple-force system addresses this. With 2500 kN V-ring impingement force, the press ensures clean edges on gear tooth profiles across the full module range. The programmable blanking speed (5-45 mm/s) lets you optimize shear-zone quality per gear module size without tooling changes, reducing setup time between part families and maintaining the work-hardened edge that subsequent hardening and finishing operations depend on.

At 60 strokes per minute with a 400 mm maximum feed width and ±0.1 mm pitch accuracy, the HF-500 sustains the production rates that Tier-1 volume contracts demand. The 750 x 750 mm working table and 700 mm die height accommodate multi-station progressive and compound dies for complex part families. Beyond powertrain, the independently adjustable V-ring and counter-pressure forces support tight flatness tolerances on larger footprint parts such as body-in-white reinforcement brackets and seat-track assemblies, where warpage control during blanking is as critical as edge quality. For OEM and Tier-1 manufacturers, the HF-500 delivers the throughput, force range and edge quality that powertrain component specifications require.
